Roller Skating?

When you roller skate shouldn't you skate on smooth path like a sidewalk because I'm learning how to skate and the place I skate at has rough paths.

Roller Skating?
yes however the best place would be skating ring as it has wood floors which is the smoothest and railings to hold on while you're learning.

Reply:For beginners, a smooth path is what you should practice on. Practicing on a rough path could make you fall, and you could hurt yourself, and I'm sure you don't want that. So a smooth path is the way to go :)

Reply:its not that hard to roller skate. you just have to keep practicing, especially on those rough paths. you'll eventually get the hang of it
