Today I am going roller-skating with friends and I was wondering how you think I should do my make-up, hair and what I should wear.
I was thinking about not wearing any make-up, the only problem is that at the moment I have a MAJOR breakout, make-up covers it really well, but I am still not sure whether to wear any seeing as it is Sunday (I usually don't wear make-up on Sunday). Do you think I should?
Now to my hair, I just got it cut yesterday. It is just above my shoulders with heaps of layering, I also have short side bangs. My hair is naturally curly. I was thinking about straigtening it. What do you think I should do with it?
I really want to wear something nice. I live in Australia so it is winter over here. I am not sure what to wear. I want to look nice (the place I am going is very trendy). so, what do you think I should wear?
Thanks for reading my very LONG question. Thanks for answering.
Thanks Again.
Hair, make-up and clothes for roller-skating!?
I think that you should only wear makeup if you believe the breakout is bad enough to do so. (Don't wear it if it interferes with your religous beliefs.) If you do decide to, base would be best. Don't overdo your eye makeup incase of sweating. (You dont want your eyeliner to run)
For your hair, I think you should straighten it. However, I'd wear it half up and half down, poofed at the crown. Use hairspray so your bangs don't get in the way. This way, your friends cans still see your new layers and cut, but it won't bother you while you are trying to have fun!!
As for clothes, find a cute long sweater, tunic or something of the sort. Since layers are in right now, you can't hardly go wrong. That way you can shed some if you get to hot while blading. (Try to avoid a heavy bulk --like winter coat if it's not too cold---because then you'll have to lag it around) For pants...I'd go with some leggings. So your legs will be warm (You'll be moving them alot anyway), and they won't look bulky or fat with your blades on!!!!
Reply:you can wear a little bit of make up... and do your hair straight .... that would look cute .. and the clothes damn you can look cute and sexy and still be covered up
Reply:If you are going to do any serious skating, go easy on the makeup. Sweaty makeup running down your neck? Not pretty. Stick with a little powder to control shine and some concealer for your spot. Light, subtle eyes and cheeks, a soft gloss for lips. You will look fresh, pretty and active.
Hair? Just style it as you normally do.
Clothes? Comfortable clothes that are not binding. Choose natural fibres, like cotton, silk, linen. Make sure that you have freedom of movement in whatever outfit you choose. Don't wear anything that has a lot of fluttery or flowey elements. Stay away from garish colours. You want to look pretty, not like the rink clown.
Wear thick, 100% cotton socks while skating. Your feet will thank you.
Reply:Shouldn't you be worried about skating? And not how you look while skating? You're going to sweat all the makeup off anyways and your hair is probably going to fall out of the style. You should probably put some concealer on that pimple though.
Reply:You should put as much make-up on that you can without making you feel uncomfortable. I think that you should let your hair be curly but maybe straighten your bangs. As for your clothes I don't really know because I don't really go to trendy places.
Reply:Have you seen the music video for "Public Affair" by Jessica Simpson? Her and her friends go roller-skating in the video and they look really cute, you should check it out! The only thing wrong with their outfits is that they aren't suitable for winter haha.

And here is a sample outfit I made for you, so if you have anything like this, it would be great!

(The red lacy shirt would go under the white flowy shirt.)
And as for your hair and make-up, just do something natural. Just wear your everyday make-up, and then add a little tad bit of color (for example, wear a brighter lip gloss than usual).
And I think it would be cute if you did your hair either like this (just straighten your hair and then scrunch it a bit and it should look like this; it might also look good all curly but with straightened bangs):

a side pony like this:

or a cute messy braid like this:

Reply:hmm, i would go for an 80s look. crimp the hair and put it into a pony or side pony, if you can with so many layers. a cute pair of jeans, skinny ones are cute at the moment. and a cute tshirt, with a little sweater over it ! for the makeup, coverup, some eyeliner, a bitta mascara and a light eyeshadow, clear or light pink lipgloss. hope i helped !
Reply:if you're going to wear concealer, make sure to wear one that stays on your skin (so if you sweat it doesnt look like your face is melting)
For your hair, you'll probabliy want to wear a helmet in case you accidentally fall on your head, so i wouldnt worry about the hair.
