Which roller hockey skates should I buy?

I'm not sure which ones to buy:

RBK 5K Pumps


CCM Vector PF10

Which roller hockey skates should I buy?
I have owned all 3 brands for ice and roller! It depends on your foot width. I started with CCM, tried Mission and went back to CCM. I have a wide foot and CCM/Reebok (same company) are more comfortable. I actually put a roller chassis on my ice boots because I feel the ice boots are better made and more comfortable. I have yet to find a comfortable roller hockey skate! I currently own a pair of Reebok 5K pumps and they are the most comfortable skates in my 15 years of hockey! I suggest you spend a little more for a stiffer boot since the 5K's are a little flimsy. I got my stuff cheap on E-Bay, but tried the skates on at a store first. If you have narrow feet, the Missions are fine! CCM has been around a lot longer and I feel that they make a better product! I hope this was more informative than the previous postings, especially the Devil fan who knows nothing about hockey!

Reply:I've had Mission blades before and they were really good. Also a reasonable price. RBK and CCM are gonna be more expensive just because of the name. Go to a store and try them on. If they all feel about the same get the cheapest one, which will probably be the Mission.
Reply:Fit should definitely drive this decision, but make sure you compare the quality of the chassis, wheels and bearings you'll be getting as well. Also consider what surface you'll be playing on.





If your skates come with indoor wheels and you mostly play on asphalt, those wheels are not going to last very long. What may seem like a great deal suddenly becomes an expensive lesson if you end up dropping an extra $100 to replace subpar or improper components that either explode early or were junk to start with.
Reply:I dont know what that guys talken about, Missions are more expensive, but there good. But personally, I got the CCMs, thats all I have ever used. But my wife uses Mission and she likes them better. I guess just try them all on, you'll be able to tell which ones are yours.
